Making the Rope

From plastic bags to rope...

1) Loop the bags through each other's handles in one long chain.
2) Fold the chain in half and in half again (it will have 4 strands now).
3) Tie one end off and twist it until it nearly wraps around itself.
4) Get a friend to untie and hold the other end. Fold the twisted chain in half, around a pole.
5) Let it twist back on itself. You may need to tie off the ends. It's now a rope.
